What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Candidate must have a passion for pets, culture and tech
• Must own a pet
• Must have at least 4 years of experience in social strategy and digital content development
• Experience working with Creator networks, influencer strategies, and corresponding measurement platforms
• A deep understanding of creating video for digital platforms and story-telling for social platforms, including Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Snapchat etc.
• Solid experience in live streaming production
• An intuitive and creative problem solver with impeccable organizational skills
• Position may require travel
• Experience operating within Google analytics, facebook insights
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and Photoshop, with a focus on developing these skills, is preferred

Wagginton is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our Marketing Team based in Jakarta.

This role is ideal for a pet and culture-obsessed creator and you will primarily drive. Wagginton's social media strategy and reactive content in partnership with creative teams and Influencers.

The ideal candidate must have an affinity for pets, a love of all things trending across the internet, as well as a range of production experience in short-form video and social content.

The ability to work creatively within a team and lead the ideation and briefing processes of content production is paramount. Candidates will need to provide strong examples of strategic capabilities and high-performing outcomes, including examples of content to drive business. *Please submit samples of work and/or case studies.

What You'll Do

• Create and day-to-day content publishing, deliverables and edits (mix of text, graphics, photos, animations, sounds, unconventional use of emojis/Stickers and everything in-between)
• Comes up with creative ideas to produce digital and social content (including writing, pitching, scripting, rights & clearances)
• Engage with users on social media pages
• Proficiency in producing shareable and engaging social-first content, info-tainment and real-time reactive video
• Possesses deep understanding of social platforms and algorithms that affect day-to-day publishing and content strategy including how to optimize video with metadata and stills
• Collaborates with larger team on creation of content publishing plans while evaluating audience consumption
• Ensures consistent video content and quality, helping produce the best content possible within a set framework and brand guidelines
• Capacity to work and react quickly in a digital news environment, which may involve working evenings and weekends
• Deep understanding of news and story lines, with sound journalistic ethics and judgment
• Strong writing skills, including copywriting and capacity for SEO-friendly headlines and descriptions
